![]() ![]() The Laser Tag Museum focused its display on Q-zar and Quasar-inspired equipment, such as the Q-zar Mark1, Mark 2, and Mark 3 packs to the rare and elusive IQ pack to the international Q-2000, Ataka, and X-Raid systems. The 2017 trade show had a fantastic turnout with more exhibitors than ever. Later, drinks and discussions were had at the Laser Tag Reception, where attendees and speakers were able to chat one-on-one with each other and discuss more topics relevant to their business and market. George also shared his plans for the future and his vision for the future of the industry. In attendance was George Carter III, the inventor of commercial laser tag, who answered questions from the audience and moderator on how the industry got started and so popular in the 1980’s. ![]() Our roundtable discussion was one of the most interesting we’ve had yet. Jimmy Chapman, Jerry Merola, Armando Lanuti, Dave Sexton, Sheryl Bindelglass, Beth Standlee, Dan Mascola and Lauren Turner all provided information on starting a successful business, to social media marketing, corporate events, laser tag arena construction, arcade layouts and more! Industry experts also gave great presentations for our attendees. The tactical seminars were chalk full of incredibly successful outdoor operators presenting such as Jack Swets, Jon Pittmann, Dan Wallace, and Robert Peppard who spoke on topics from starting your own tactical business to mobile and capitalizing on the experience you provide your guests. Out of the 17 classes, we had a few new operators speak, such as Gavin Taylor from Battle Sector X in Rochester, UK who spoke on the importance of building your brand, and Tim Kintz from Lazer-X in Fort Wayne, Indiana who talked about how their facility came back stronger than ever after being burned to the ground. With 17 seminars divided into 3 tracks, developers, traditional operators, and tactical operators were able to network and gain revenue generating ideas to take back with them. The Laser Tag Convention was recently held in sunny Dallas, Texas at the Dallas Convention Center, where operators, developing entrepreneurs, equipment suppliers, and industry experts came together to attend educational seminars and purchase equipment for their facilities. March 17, 2017, Dallas, TX – The 2017 Laser Tag Convention just came to a close and it was an impressive show for all who attended. ![]()
